Easy ways to improve your English
I want to discuss with you some points on English language by which you can enhance your English speaking skills. So here we go
1) DON'T FOCUS ON USING EXACT GRAMMAR :- Yes you read it
right do not focus. Because when you involve so much in grammar then you
lose your fluency and confidence also. So be fluent rather than focus
on grammar.
2) READ ENGLISH NEWSPAPER :- I know it is tough ;). But
to make this habit in your daily routine will give you lots of new words
in your dictionary. Other than this reading newspaper will give you
knowledge also.
3) READ LOUD :- Whenever you read English, just read it
loud. Why? because when you read English in loud, it make you habitual
of speaking fluent English. Your pronunciation will improve. It gives u
confidence and fluency also.
4) LEARN A NEW WORD EVERYDAY :- Lots of people are going
for learning 10 words, 20 words or 25 words in a day and we all know
that how good it worth. So it is my suggestion to all of u guys don't go
for promising words. Just learn one word in a day and believe me it
good enough for having good vocabulary.
5) USE TECHNOLOGY IN RIGHT WAY :-
A smartphone can be a powerful tool for learning languages. Use it to
record yourself speaking then listen back to see how your English sounds
to other people. Make use for your practice and make a note of all the new words you learn.
6) LISTEN AND REPEAT :-
Listen to news bulletins and songs in English to listen to the
pronunciation of words and then repeat that words. You can also learn
new words and expressions this way. The more you listen, the more you
learn!
7) PAY ATTENTIONS ON STRESSES :-English uses stresses in words and
sentences. That means you’ll need to stress, or emphasize, certain words and
syllables (sounds) to give words and sentences different meanings.
Listen to where native
speakers place the emphasis when they speak. Try to repeat it the same way. This won’t only help you speak
well, it might even reduce misunderstandings. Sometimes the placing the stress
on the wrong syllable completely changes the word. The word ADdress, for
instance, isn’t the same as the word adDRESS. ADdress refers to a physical
location where someone lives, and adDRESS means to formally speak to a
group of people.
So here are 7 ways and i will can say this guarantee that if follow only
4 to 5 ways properly, then it you see great improvement in your
English.
